This animated work proposes a unique method to identify and understand basic moral issues. It shows a large machine that is able to look into emotional conflict much like a telescope looks into deep space. The machine is too big for the room, yet it needs size and precision for such a difficult task. It probably doesn’t need to be made from brass, but anything worth doing, is worth doling right.

Turn a handle here and make an adjustment there and the answer will come into focus. I do love old machines that were built with pride, patience, and naivety.
